    Permítanme presentarme, soy ingeniero agrónomo, mientras estudiaba en la Universidad de Buenos Aires cursé Topografía con un ingeniero civil y fui ayudante de cátedra durante seis años. En esos años mi padre me regaló una HP 25c con la cual programé los trabajos que publico en el Blog de Jason.

    Como ingeniero agrónomo el título universitario me habilita a realizar mensuras y subdivisiones (pero no podemos firmarlas), nivelaciones (geométricas, trigonométricas y barométricas); y lo más importante, realizar relevamientos taquimétricos con el propósito de hacer planos con curvas de nivel.

    Tengo experiencia en la confección de planos con curvas de nivel a escala grande (1:2000) con el propósito de planificar obras de manejo y conservación de suelos (cultivo en franjas, terrazas y desagües), riego; como así también cálculo de pequeñas represas y movimientos de tierra.

    Toda esta experiencia y programas de cálculo fueron hechos entre 1974-1980, mientras vivía en Buenos Aires. Una vez graduado gané un concurso en el INTA (Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Agropecuaria) para trabajar en Pergamino, 220 km al NO. A partir de entonces me especialicé en otras actividades de mi profesión, y no trabajé más como topógrafo. Pero como siempre conservé el interés en las calculadoras programables, cuando me compré la HP 35s traduje los programas que ya había confeccionado.

    El total de programas es 28, agrupados en 9 categorías: Teoremas geométricos; Medición indirecta de distancias y posicionamiento; Ángulos, azimut y rumbos; Nivelación; Coordenadas; Cálculo de superficies; Taquimetría (medición plani altimétrica), Cubicación y Misceláneas.

    Let me introduce myself, I am an agricultural engineer, at the University of Buenos Aires I took a topography course with a civil engineer and was a teaching assistant for six years. In those years my father gave me a HP 25c with which I programmed the work I post on Jason´s Blog.

    As an agronomist, the University degree enables us to perform surveying and subdivisions (but we cannot sign them), leveling (geometric, trigonometric and barometric); and most importantly, tachymetry survey in order to make contour maps.

    I have experience in making contour maps at large scale (1: 2000) for the purpose of planning soil conservation practices (stripes crops, terraces and drains), irrigation; as well as calculation of small dams and earthworks.

    All this experience and calculation programs were made in the period 1974-1980, while living in Buenos Aires. After graduating, I concourse for a position at INTA (National Institute of Agricultural Technology) to work in Pergamino, 220 km NW. Since then I specialized in other activities of my profession. As I always kept the interest in programmable calculators, when I bought my HP 35s I translated programs that I had already made.

    The total programs are 28, grouped into 9 categories: Geometric theorems; Indirect distance measurement & positioning; Angles, azimut & bearings; Coordinates; Calculating area
    Planimetry and altimetry survey (Tachymetry); Cubage; Leveling and Miscellaneous.
